Ohio Beach House
Ohio Beach House Completed: 2023 The ‘Ohio Beach House’ is a “Vella Build” renovation success story…with the original dwelling receiving a huge transformation that has certainly exceeded the owner’s original expectations beyond their wildest dreams. Situated in the beautiful flowing valleys of Mountain Creek, the ‘Ohio Beach House’ speaks “modern coastal luxury” … and all at a “very affordable price”. This project is a testament to what can be achieved (even when you’re limited dollar wise with a tight budget) … when you take the time to investigate, search for and engage a good design and construction team. ‘Vella Build’ are extremely proud of what we have created with the “Ohio Beach House’… As a team, we listened, we planned and from design to completion through our collaborative efforts we created and delivered this coastal dream home on time and on budget. A few key features are: fluted bar back facing on the kitchen island bench, the use of Egyptian raw stone tiles, huge open alfresco (17.5m x 5.7m) for entertaining, indoor/outdoor layout sporting large signature windows & doors sections with reassessed thresholds, timber floating feature shelves throughout against coastal white 2pac cabinetry with stone bench tops, the choice of stunning lighting, plumbing fixtures and fittings to name a few, and the list goes on….. The ‘Ohio Beach House’ is a classic modern take on a 21st century themed beach home that displays the attributes of “indoor/ outdoor” living at its best. Palmview Forest Retreat
Palmview Forest Retreat Completed: 2022 To all those landowners out there of steep or tricky blocks who are pondering on the complexities of design and build … The ‘Palmview Forest Retreat’ is a testament to what can be achieved by connecting with a good design and construction team. ‘Palmview Forest Retreat’ is located on a stunningly beautiful elevated position … situated within the ‘Palmview Forest Estate’. The brief was to build a modest but beautifully flowing architecturally designed home, which, when viewed from the front street scape, opens up grandly once inside… then tiers & wanders down the block to accommodate the growing needs of three children within a family of five. Being one of the more trickier blocks to build on in the estate due to the steep natural gradient came with many challenges. Executing the construction of the Rumpus/ guests quarters (situated under the master bedroom at the lowest point of the building envelope) required the building to be ‘keyed into the slope’. This particular part of the building has three positive walls (meaning the soil is hard up against the exterior of the outside wall of the building) … which required extra special attention. Vella Build rose to the occasion, utilising the latest in waterproofing technology and clever construction to deliver a long lasting and aesthetically pleasing result. Vella Build maintained a consistently high presence on and off site during the construction period… working in very closely with the clients & their design team to deliver the ultimate ‘dream home’.
